GatorFinder app for iPhone and iPad

Overview
GatorFinder is an app to test users’ responses toward in-app ads. Specifically, GatorFinder allows to check app users’ reactions to ads depending on the ad exposure duration as well as types of ads when in-app ads appear after opening the app. Advertisers or students in the field of advertising targeting to reach smartphone users can use this app.

Operation Systems
Required iOS 7.0 or later.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, 5s and 5c.


Features:
1. Selecting an image as an ad: You can select images from your own Photos in your devices. Any images in your Photos can be used; however, it is recommended to create an ad image as optimized for your device to get more accurate user responses.
2. Showing your selected image as an in-app ad: All images you choose to use will be shown as a full screen display ad.
3. Controlling ad exposure time: You can change ad exposure duration on the “Setting” tab.
4. Skipping ads: App users can close ads by touching “Skip” button. After skipping ads, the University of Florida mobile homepage will be shown in the screen as a default page. (You can also change the mobile page on the “Setting” tab.)
5. Setting the time of skipping ads: You can set up the starting time of showing “Skip” button to close ads.
6. Saving ad skip time on your DB: You can save how many seconds were taken by app users before skipping ads on your database in the app.
7. Sending the test data to your email: You can email your test data.
8. Synching files via iTunes: Ad images for your test can be synched via iTunes.

FAQ
Q: I downloaded the app and $1 has been paid.
- GatorFinder is a free program. When it says $1 is paid, it is a confirmation process to check validity of your registered credit card to use App Store. In fact, you will not be charged.

Q: Program errors
- When an error happens, please push the Home button to close the app and restart the app. You do not need to push the Home button twice since GatorFinder doesn’t support inactive state.

Please note:
- GatorFinder is required to have iOS 6.0 or later version. This app is optimized for iPhone 5, 5s, and 5c.
- After deleting the app, your data will not be saved. Please make sure to back up the data for your own convenience.
- This app is a simple testing app. The app will exit when your phone is receiving a call, or the Home button is pushed.
